The Meadow is a hidden place. Mafia keeps hidden on purpose. If you know how to find it then you should have no problem. A ring of trees surrounds it and roses line a path, leading straight to a fork in the road. Horses often try both roads but never find the meadow. As the way is on neither of the roads. But through the middle of the fork. If you keep going straight you eventually find an arch made of tree branches. Vines climb up the branches and hang like a curtain in front of the entrance.

The Ash Mountains are literally mountains with snow that is grey and dingy. No one, but the immortals, really know why. Its said that the mountains were actually a volcano and it exploded one day. Spewing ash into the air and it mixed with the snow, making it grey. Some say that the ash is still falling but no one can really confirm it. You can often find drafts moving through here, as the snow is lighter and fluffy. Not as packed in as many of the areas in the North that have snow. The snow flies around with even a puff of air from your lungs. Foals dont usually come into these lands unless they are with their mother. As they can easily get lost in the higher areas of snow. Because its all one colour and flat looking many horses dont see the drops where the snow fills a hole and often fall into the hole. If you're not careful you'll end up walking into a hole, falling and possibly finding a horse who died of a broken bone next to you. Many of the holes are deep but lucky for you Mafia often has patrols look carefully around these lands. As he doesnt wish for anyone else to die in the holes. Old horses that want to die often come here, trying to die. Why no one really knows but it seems to have a pull on the psyche of depressed equines.

The Badlands are a graveyard. You can find horses that are buried here. Or carelessly thrown on the ground by their murderer's, family or just random people. Though the North isnt as barbaric as the South and East it still has its brutal areas. Mafia tries to bury all of the horses but who can keep up with the constant death's that have been happening since GreenLeaf has come to the lands. Dont let your foal near this area. Ghosts often run rampant here, mostly from the murder's that usually happen in the North. Why murder is a constant crime in the North no one knows. Mafia is always looking for murderers but many think its the Southern and Easterns murdering Northerns out of anger. Be careful walking through these lands. You never know what might happen.

The River, nicknamed Frozen Rush, is almost always covered in ice that is thin enough to break if you tap your hoof on it. It hard to get to it though, as snow piles up and its a sudden drop into water when the snow stops. Mafia often assigns those whom he trusts to break the ice every couple of hours to keep it flowing. If you follow the river you will find a lake that never freezes. The constant flow of water doesnt allow ice to form on the top. The water is constantly warm too. Many think its because of the vent that leads from the volcano into the lake and heats the water.
