The Basin is where Mafia and his mate[the empress] live. Despite his name Mafia is a very kind stallion who loves all of his subjects. Anyone is welcome here. Even members of the South and East. Refugees often take refugee in the Golden King's lands. The basin is full of meadows and woods line it. Keeping the snow from passing their large and thick trunks. A large gap is in the tree line though. Making an entrance where snow still spills in but doesnt get very far. During the winter it snows very hard in the basin though. When summer comes birds flock to the basin. Flowers are often found here. Along with willows trees where their branches are a normal colour. The leaves that are on the tree are a beautiful silver and the veins that run through the silky leaves are a golden colour. Many magical horses can be found here but mostly gods and goddess. Mortal horses dont often make it to the basin because of the snow that still lingers in the summer. But when they do they are greeted by Mafia himself.
